Compound Machines Project

In this project, I designed and built a creative machine utilizing compound mechanisms. We drew inspiration from traditional timekeeping devices and engineered a Graham escapement mechanism to create a functional timer.

While the project faced challenges, such as precision limitations with materials, I designed the escapement system and contributed to troubleshooting issues with energy transfer. This experience deepened my understanding of mechanical advantage and problem-solving under resource constraints.
